1. Who we are

weareven ("we", "us") is an expense-splitting app that helps friends, roommates, and small groups track shared costs.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and (if you sign in with phone OTP) mobile number.
• App data: groups you create, members you invite, and expenses you record.
• Device data: basic diagnostics (device type, app version, crash logs) to keep the app stable.

3. How we use it

Your data is used only to run the app: to sign you in, keep groups in sync across devices, and generate your monthly summary. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run weareven (authentication, database, hosting). Expense details you enter into a group are visible to the other members of that group.

5. Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion removes your profile and expense records within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us at the email below. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR; if you are in California, you have rights under CCPA.

7. Children

weareven is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
